Malnutrition Program
Malnourished children are a very common occurrence in the wide area surrounding Noah's Ark. There are very few health facilities that are able and willing to treat these cases. Our Malnutrition program is of vital importance for these children. The program entails:
- In-patient and out-patient care for malnourished children
- Therapeutic feeding
- Outreaches to educate on the possibilities of treating malnutrition and how to prevent it with a healthy and varied diet
- Provision of infant formula in case the mother died while giving birth or is not able to breastfeed
